Itinerary
Your holiday begins in the 'Queen of Welsh Resorts', Llandudno, where our Tour Manager meets us at the hotel, whose owners pride themselves on attention to detail and high levels of service and comfort. Nestled on the rugged north coast of Wales, with a backdrop of Snowdonia National Park, this is an ideal base for exploring.
Once you have arrived and settled in, you may wish to get to know our new surroundings while wandering the waterfront or strolling past the town's Victorian buildings.
This evening, we are served a four-course dinner in the hotel's award-winning restaurant, a delightful start to our holiday.

This was a great holiday - first one we've done like this. Llandudno is a very attractive seaside town with plenty to do in the area and a good place to be based. Our daily trips were well thought out & I think they cherry picked the best North Wales has to offer, which is considerable - the scenery is stunning as are the castles & the rail trips were fun. My favourite was Gwydir Castle (although I'd say its more of a grand house than castle). We had a guided tour by the owner who explained how the remarkable thirty year restoration progressed (& is still ongoing). Absolutely fascinating & the place is stunningly beautiful. Our tour manager, Andrew, was brilliant. Kept us all to schedule, ensured no one got left behind & was always there with information on where to visit or get a coffee. Our coach driver, Mike, was equally brilliant. A very good driver (some of the roads are challenging in a big coach) & a thoroughly nice chap. Our hotel (the Dunoon) was a nice place to return to every day. Our ensuite room was comfortable & the bar, lounge & dining rooms full of old world charm with wood panelling everywhere. Staff were all pleasant & the food excellent with good choices from the four course menu - you won't go hungry! This looked as though it was going to be a good holiday but I have to say it exceeded my expectations. Thoroughly recommended!
